For the occasion, Visser once did the 100 meters. In one day she ran three races and the times always became faster. In the final, Visser became second behind Minke Bisschops. “I built it nicely. The best for the last time,” says Visser about the NK.

Despite the personal record, it outweighs Visser that her speed is ‘good’. On the hordes she needs that to be able to shine in Tokyo next month. She participates in the World Athletics Championships. “I could also have done great hordes, but I still have a block of competitions. It’s a good incentive like that.”

World Cup medal

In the meantime, Visser is going to her fourth World Cup Outdoor. She has not yet managed to win medals at that international tournament. Indoor already succeeded. That’s how she won bronze in 2018. “The stupid thing is that I had a bit of bad luck. It has already worked out well, but some competitors started running so fast. That is sour, but I can’t do more. I want to walk harder, but there are so many on my part that would be. It would be very nice.”
