The pre -sale for the Wacken Open Air 2026 begins soon – at least for particularly loyal fans. While the W: O: A 2025 is still running, there are already first details about the next issue of the legendary Metal Festival. We summarize what is so far at the start of the pre -sale, at prices and known for the appointment.
Loyalty tickets for Wacken 2026: Advance sales from Saturday, August 2nd
From Saturday, August 2, 2025, at 10:00 a.m., the exclusive Loyalty pre-sale for the Wacken Open Air 2026. However, access is limited: Only those who were notified by the organizers on Friday, August 1st can be accessed.
The most important facts about advance booking:
- 10,000 tickets are available
- A maximum of 2 tickets per person
- Price: 333 euros (officially 349 euros, 16 euros are available as cashess credit)
- Payment by credit card or PayPal
- The ticket link is valid for 24 hours
The loyalty bonus rewards long-time Wacken visitors. For them there is not only preferred access, but also an attractive price advantage.
Mailing list for more information is now open
If you don’t get a loyalty ticket, you can still prepare for the purchase of a ticket: From now on it is now Registration for the W: O: A 2026 mailing list open. In the future, the organizers will inform about this about the start of advance booking, ticket phases and first band confirmations.
Registration does not guarantee a ticket, but ensures the earliest possible access to official information about the festival.
When does the Wacken 2026 take place?
Officially, the date has not yet been finally confirmed, but several indications indicate the period from July 29 to August 1, 2026-not least because it is the traditional Wacken weekend. The festival is likely to extend roughly between July 26 and August 1, 2026. As usual, a full festival week should be due.
Bands and line-up: everything still open
Nothing has yet been confirmed for line-up. As usual, numerous wishlists circulate in the fan forums. There Iron Maiden, Nightwish, Sabaton, Limp Bizkit, Electric Callboy, Manowar and many more are mentioned. Traditionally, the organizers announce the first acts on the festival Saturday evening of the previous year, i.e. during Wacken 2025. As soon as there is information, you can find out here, of course.
