Parallel to the announcement of the sale of Iveco Defgence Vehicle to Italian Leonardo, the expected announcement has arrived, or of the sale of Iveco to the Indiana Tata. The operation has a value of 3.8 billion euros. The agreement between Tata Motors and Iveco provides “the creation of a group of commercial vehicles with the scope, the product portfolio and the industrial capacity necessary to establish itself as a global leader in this dynamic sector”. The voluntary Public Public Offer (Public Purchase Offer), for a total consideration of approximately 3.8 billion for Iveco, excluding defense activities and net proceeds deriving from defense activities, will be promoted by a new Srl of Dutch law entirely controlled by Tata. The completion of the opa is subject to the separation of defense activities and concerns the ordinary actions issued after the separation of activities.
