Granit Xhaka leaves Bayer Leverkusen and joins the AFC Sunderland: Both clubs announced on Wednesday. The Swiss receives a three-year contract from the Premier League promoter and is said to hold the traditional club in the English Oberhaus.
According to media reports, the English association must pay a transfer fee of the equivalent of around 20 million euros to the Bundesliga clubs. Leverkusen also loses a leader after numerous departures. Xhaka receives a contract with AFC Sunderland until 2027.
