People who exchange their large social rental home for a smaller house can request a removal contribution of 1,500 euros.
It is a trial of all Gooise municipalities and housing associations. They hope to get the flow on the social rental market going.
Social rental market
Just like in the rest of the province, the social rental market is stuck. Precisely by promoting flow there is room again. Many elderly people still live in a larger social rental home while they can easily live smaller, so is the idea. This in turn ensures that single -family homes are released for young families, who then again leave a starter home.
The test lasts two years. Tenants can apply for the allowance afterwards, because they must already be registered at the new address. However, the rule only applies to people who move within the region.
