FC Lucerne is currently experiencing difficult hours. Young players Nando Bucher succumbed to a serious illness.
He had great dreams and a lot, but his serious illness held him away. Now the young player of FC Luzern, Nando Bucher, has died at the age of 17. The club from Switzerland announced this on the X platform late Sunday evening.
“Nando would have been 18 years old at the end of September,” the association also wrote in its statement. Despite his serious illness, which was not discussed in more detail, Bucher fought “with impressive strength, courage and hope”. The Swiss most recently played in the U18 of the FCL and was considered a great talent.
His teammates mourn for a “lovely, modest” friend with “positive charisma”. The association condolized the loved one of the player: “Our deeply felt sympathy applies in this difficult time of his family and his relatives. The FCL family will be lovingly remembered.”
