Thomas Müller gives the rumors about his future in the MLS new food: in a video he speaks of the fact that it goes “over the big pond”.

Thomas Müller once again lived up to his reputation as an original Bavarian. The FC Bayern veteran published the next indication on his YouTube channel that he will soon be lacing his soccer shoes in the US MLS-and thus played a legendary scene from the BR series “Munich Stories” with Helmut Dietl.

Müller: “25 years of FCB – it was every day”

With Cowboy hat, he sits the entertainment with his brother Simon and father Gerhard on the Isar, just like Dietl and – slightly modified and only a few hundred meters downstream of the original town. “Schee was it,” he says “25 years FCB, Schee was every day. But when it is over …” In the further course of the video, he only hides a little hidden his change to the USA: “Heit is Saturday, tomorrow, the day after tomorrow and then everything is over. Then it goes over the big pond.” An expression that is usually used for the United States of America.

The video ends by riding Müller in the cowboy costume, accompanied by Western music, towards sunset. The original episode from the “Munich stories” bears the name “The long way to Sacramento”. Sacramento will not work for Müller. Even ago, several media reported that Müller would move to the USA and only had to make a decision. One of them is Los Angeles FC, a partner club of the German record champion, who was recently associated with Tottenham’s Heung-Min Son.

In Los Angeles he would meet the former French national goalkeeper Hugo Lloris. His trainer would also be a well -known face: Steve Cherundulo played for more than 15 years in the Bundesliga at Hannover 96. LA is currently in fifth place in the Western Conference of the MLS.

Change to the USA to Reus and Messi

After 25 years, 13 championship titles and two Champions League triumphs, Müller had not received a new contract with Bayern. The club World Cup quarter-finals against Paris Saint-Germain, which the Munich team 0-2 Lost, the last game was in the jersey of his childhood association. The 35 -year -old apparently had many offers from clubs from England, Italy and Turkey – now a signature in the USA should be imminent.

This would follow in the footsteps of another club legend. Former FC Bavaria Star Bastian Schweinsteiger had once ended his career in the United States. Müller’s former DFB teammate Marco Reus at La Galaxy is currently active in his last career station and Superstar Lionel Messi is also on the ball for Inter Miami.
