The man presented himself on platforms such as Tiktok, Instagram and Snapchat as a young woman. Under the pretext of a so -called model competition, he convinced the girls to take pictures of themselves – first dressed, then more explicitly.
The case came to light in 2021, when he asked a nude photo to a girl of nine from Antwerp. During the subsequent investigation, the police found 4,500 images on his computer. The perpetrator admitted that he had approached between fifty and one hundred girls. The police still do not know the identity of 27 victims.
