Two residential units that were transported on a trailer were completely destroyed in Asten on Friday afternoon. They were just too high to be able to go through the provincial road under the viaduct. A motorist who wanted to warn the truck driver was buried under pieces of the containers and was damaged.
The accident happened just before half past one on the Voordeldonk. The driver knew it would be tight with his high charge. That is why he drove a walk under the viaduct of the N279, but the living containers turned out to be too high.
Burst
The units were badly damaged and several pieces broke off. They partly ended up on a car that drove next to the combination. The motorist just wanted to warn the truck driver that things went completely wrong with his load.
The motorist remained unharmed, but his car car ran the necessary dents and paint damage due to the falling fragments of the living containers.
Sealed
The police are temporarily closed off the road so that the truck driver could bring his first load away. There he comes back to pick up the damaged residential units.
