Two new additions in 3rd league

The 1. FC Nürnberg gives central defender Nick Seidel to SSV Jahn Regensburg for one season. The 20-year-old, who signed a professional contract in January by 2028, completed eight missions in the 2nd Bundesliga last season. In the second division relegation, Seidel is the eleventh new addition and the second loan of the club to Dustin Forkel (20).
“Nick has taken the step into the professional squad in the past season. So that we can make its development in the best possible way, we have agreed on a loan to SSV Jahn Regensburg, where we wish him every success for the coming season,” said sports director Joti Chatzialexiou.
FC Ingolstadt obliges the next Danes
FC Ingolstadt 04 is now increasing the midfield with Fredrik Carlsen from Silkeborg IF. The 23-year-old, who scored two goals for the Danish first division club last season, is the eighth newcomer to the Schanzern, who, according to Mads Borchers (23) and Frederik Christensen (24), won the third new Danes-together with Gustav Christensen (20) there are now four in the FCI squad.
“Fredrik is a versatile box-to-box player who runs a lot and acts very team-related. In addition to his passport security and good combination game, he also convinces with his danger in and around the penalty area. It is precisely these characteristics we need for our game, which is why we are all the happier that Fredrik is now part of our team,” said sports director Dietmar Beiersdorf.
