The approaching change of the most valuable second division professional Caspar Jander from 1st FC Nürnberg to VfB Stuttgart seems to burst in the last few meters. As the “Bild” newspaper reports, the Swabians broke off the negotiations with the club for the time being. The Bundesliga club is said to have recently deposited a second, improved offer for the central midfielder at the Valznerweiher, which significantly exceeded the 10 million border-but Nuremberg seems to be on its pain limit of at least 15 million euros.
It has not been handed down whether the latter is the reason for the demolition of the talks. According to the newspaper, VfB could already have a promising, but not mentioned alternative to Jander. Its contract with the Franks is still dated by 2028 and now everything could indicate a whereabouts and another year 2. League for the 22-year-old.
FCN coach Miroslav Klose said on Wednesday about his protégé: “I know his character and believe that this is quite possible. Especially at Caspar. I actually spoke to him twice and there were good conversations. We have exchanged ourselves. But now we have to wait and see how it will be. The time window has not yet expired. That is the main thing. “
Jander only switched from MSV Duisburg to the Franks last summer and became a regular player straight away. In 32 second division games, he scored three goals and prepared nine more. Its market value climbed from 750,000 to 7 million euros – no professional in the lower house is more valuable. Born in Münster, he was also part of the DFB squad at the U21 European Championship in Slovakia, where the German team was defeated in the final of England. Recently, clubs from abroad such as Benfica or Dinamo Zagreb also showed interest in Jander.
