Many participants already dream of working as a savior later. “I really like to help people and I really respect rescuers,” says Julie Bousson. “Many friends of mine are savior, it seems really a nice job for the summer,” adds Leah Sillis.
A second session of the Junior rescue days in De Panne will follow on 20 August. Today’s winners – a boy and a girl – were already allowed to sail with the lifeboat, as a reward for their efforts.
