The trade unions and the works council are unhappy about the state of affairs. According to them, Tata creates chaos, especially with the system of internal applications. In addition, the request for advice is incomplete: crucial information about new functions and function groups is missing. It also remains unclear how Tata sees the ‘transition from A to B’. The question arises: what is the plan behind the plan?

“Never waist a good crisis,” says trade union manager Cihan Lacin. The suspicion is that the company engages the crisis to cut more than necessary.

During the meeting, staff members are given the opportunity to ask questions. “There is a lot of overdue maintenance. Why is there not being invested in installations? This plan is bobbin work,” says a staff member.

Employee Jenny calls the plan unbelievable. “They want to be an innovative company, but in the meantime are scraping a lot in the Technology department? I have lost confidence.”

Also Rob employee from his concerns against NH. “The quality of the steel is deteriorating. We slide down to a lower level. What does this mean for the future of the company and our position in the region?”
