A small truck went up in flames last night at the Lankhorst junction near Meppel.
Just after 3 am the fire broke out in the vehicle. Firefighters from Meppel and Staphorst pulled out, but could not prevent the truck’s cabin from burning out.
Due to the fire, the A28 towards the neighborhood was closed for some time. The driver remained unharmed.
