Brax gave several trainees from Gerry Weber a new chance after the German clothing provider has filed for bankruptcy and the trademark rights were taken over by the Spanish fashion group Victrix Group.
After the “closure of Gerry Weber at the end of May”, it was quickly clear to Brax that the Herford fashion company wants to offer the trainees concerned a future last week at the LinkedIn career network. The company then organized a “speed dating” in which the trainee met the HR managers at Brax. Six of them continued their training-including an industrial clerk, e-commerce or marketing communication clerk.
“For us it is a win-win situation: we continue to grow and at the same time give young people a perspective,” says Marc Freyberg, Managing Director of Marketing and Sales.
Brax is currently training 37 young people. 13 new trainees will start their career at Brax from August.
