A car with a caravan caught fire on the Spieringerweg (N855) near Dwingeloo. The driver was able to disconnect the caravan on time, so that it did not suffer any damage. The car itself largely burned out.
The fire started under the hood. The fire brigade extinguished the fire and the police temporarily closed the road in both directions.
Nobody was injured.
