Petition French student against insecticide collects more than 700,000 signatures

A petition from a student who asks to cancel a French law has collected more than 700,000 signatures on the website of the French Parliament. The law – the LOI duplomb – allows the use of a previously forbidden insecticide again. The petition gets so much acclaim that a debate in the French parliament can follow.
