After transfer expenses of around 74 million euros for Matheus Cunha (26), Manchester United reaches deep into the pocket again at the next access. According to the matching media reports in England, the Red Devil’s agreement with league competitor FC Brentford has achieved Bryan Mbumo. The 26-year-old attacker becomes a record exit from his still employer and even costs more than Cunha.

According to “Sky Sports”, the transfer for MBeumo amounts to £ 65 million, i.e. around 75 million euros. In addition, up to £ 6 million (7 million euros) can be added in bonuses. Makes a total package of 82 million euros – a sum that United was at least there in the club’s history. The previous offer of the English record champion is said to have been a total of almost 72 million euros.

The Red Devils only scored 44 goals in 38 games, the best goal scorers were Bruno Fernandes (30) and Amad Diallo (23) with eight goals each. Above all, the center forward Rasmus Højlund (22) and Joshua Zirkzee (24), who were successful four or three times, remained behind the expectations. Mbumo came to 28 scorers, Cunha on 21.
