After the insolvency of the clothing provider Gerry Weber International GmbH, fixed assets now come under the hammer.

The Hamburg recycling company HT Hanseatic Industrie-Consult GmbH & Co. KG announced on Friday that it will publicly auction the textile company inventory on its website as part of two online auctions. The offer ranges from “from modern office furniture to photo studios, the inventory of sewing and ironing to complete logistics equipment”.

The sale of a well -known clothing brand is nothing new for HT: Last year, the company had already auctioned the assets of the insolvent German societies of Esprit.

According to HT, the first auction of Gerry-Weber stocks has already started and runs until August 4th. It includes office furniture from well -known brands, technology and equipment of photo studios as well as inventory of sewing and ironing. In a second auction, according to a message from the beginning of September, “the complete equipment of the logistics center and the rest of the administrative inventory should come to auction”.

As part of the recent bankruptcy proceedings, the Spanish textile group Victrix Group had acquired the trademark rights of Gerry Weber and the sister brand Samoon.

However, the previous infrastructure of the textile company has no future. Among other things, Gerry Weber has to give up his headquarters in Halle in Westphalia and close all German branches by the end of August. With the auction that has now started, “another step towards orderly processing is taken,” said HT.
