Nanu, why was Liam Gallagher boasted? On July 11, Oasis played her homecoming concert in Manchester – and were celebrated frenetically by their hometown. The applause failed only once: when the boos were loud.
The reason for the declarations of displeasure was Liam Gallagher himself. In the middle of the set, he dedicated the song “D’You Know what i meaning?” the “biggest coach of all time” – Pep Guardiola. The long-time Manchester City coach and tightness of the Gallagher brothers were in the audience that evening. But many fans – especially supporters of city rivals Manchester United – saw the much differently and acknowledged Liams announcement with whistles and boos.
Liam Gallagher booed – Noel commented on
The exhausted Liam was not impressed. Instead of justifying himself, he demonstratively bowed towards the stage, his hands folded for prayer – an ironic knee for the trainer. As “The Sun” reports, there was also a life-size pap of Pep Guardiola on stage-with a Manchester City scarf around his neck.
Noel Gallagher, self-confessed city superfan, countered the boos from the audience: “Who the hell do you actually boost?” – What laughed at many fans. At the latest at the first guitar reef from d’Uu Know What I Mean? ” But everything in the Heaton Park was peace, joy, eggs.
