In the Irish village of Tuam, the long -awaited excavations will start on Monday on the grounds of a former children’s home. There may be the remains of 796 babies and young children under the grass, right next to a playground. Their bodies were discovered in 2014 in what was once a septic pit on the domain of a Catholic shelter for unmarried mothers.
