Erwin Flipse becomes deputy Secretary General at the Ministry of Health, Welfare and Sport. The Council of Ministers has agreed to the proposal for this from Minister Uitermark of the Interior and Kingdom Relations. The appointment starts on October 1, 2025.
Drs. EJHS (Erwin) Flipse MPA has been a member of the board of the Amsterdam District Court since 2022. Before that he was in the leadership of two divisions at UMC Utrecht, where he was responsible for the broad portfolio operations. He previously worked at two consultancy firms, where he advised the government on efficiency and management issues. He also worked for some time in various managerial positions at the Directorate-General of the National Budget of the Ministry of Finance. Erwin Flipse studied political science at the University of Leiden and he obtained a Master of Public Administration at the Dutch School for Public Administration.
This appointment was made through the procedure for the top management group of the General Administrative Service.
