In the second half, FC Volendam played with eleven other names. Robert Mühren immediately got a big chance in the first minute after the break. The striker only went to the goalkeeper, but saw his effort being turned.
Katwijk took several times from the sloppiness in the back of FC Volendam and thus had some good opportunities. Eventually Angelo Kamperveen rewarded the hard work of the home team twenty minutes before time. Kayne van Oevelen was still sitting with his fingertips on the deployment of the Katwijk striker, but the goalkeeper could not prevent the 1-1.
