According to the investigations of the Guardia Civil, Lamborghini traveled at a speed higher than that allowed, while a rubber would explode during a overtaking
The excessive speed of Lamborghini Huracán and a problem with a rear wheel: these would be the most likely causes of the road accident in which the Liverpool footballer Diogo Jota and his brother, André Silva, lost their lives. This is what is emerging from the expert report, still in progress, carried out by the experts, as confirmed by the Spanish Civil Guard.
The clues
–
The investigations of the Guardia Civili focused on the signs left by the sports car along the A-52, at the height of Sanabria, where the accident occurred. The two brothers were proceeding towards Santander, where they should have embarked on a direct ferry in England, so that Diogo Joa could reach the pre -season retreat of Liverpool. The player was in fact recommended to avoid flying following a lung surgery. The indications that emerged suggest that the Lamborghini on which the two Portuguese brothers were on board traveled well beyond the permitted speed limit of 120 km/times. The tire of a rear wheel of the car would then be burst during overtaking. At the moment, from the investigation it appears that to lead the Lamborghini was Diogo Jota.
