In a suspended atmosphere, the public found himself sitting on sheets arranged in a semicircle, with the sea behind and, in the center, the music of the delicacies – Italian band with a soft and refined sound – in an acoustic set designed to accompany the fall of the sun. This preview anticipated the seventh edition of Porto Rubino, which in two days will officially sail for a new journey along the coast of Puglia. The Festival, born from Ruby’s desire to tell the sea through music, will also touch some of the most suggestive ports of the region this year, crossing breathtaking landscapes and territories rich in history and charm.
From Levante to Ermal Meta: the guest singers of the Festival
The seventh edition will start on 10 July in Peschici, with a line-up that combines some of the most interesting voices of the current music scene, between well-known names and emerging talents: Anna Carol, Clementino, Bluem, Gnut, Niccolò Fabi, Francesco Di Bella and Giorgio then, who in an exclusive performance in Duo will animate the evening. The opening will be entrusted to the duo Raestavinve and Alessandro Boy.
On July 14, the Old Port of Monopoli will host an evening with a high rate of rhythm with Levante, the list representative, Coca Puma, Bassolino, the magician of ice cream and Lamante, while Gaia Rollo will open.
On July 18 we return to Polignano a Mare, where the Festival was born, with a free concert at dawn with Cala Fear: protagonists a thousand, Avion Travel, Remo Anzovino and the opening of prudent. Marco Alemanno will also be present who will share some special readings for the occasion.
The tribute to Lucio Dalla
The closure is scheduled for July 19 in Otranto with “From Lucio al Mare”, a tribute to Lucio Dalla who will see Ermal Meta, Chiara Galiazzo, Aiello, Dimartino and Riccardo Sinigallia perform. Opening Act: Sofia Rollo.
