Solebox brings the 3D printed shoes from Zellerfeld to inpatient trade.

The Berlin flagship of the Cologne sneaker and sportswear dealer is equipped with a 3D foot scan station and presentation areas that present the products and 3D printing technology, announced brinebox CEO Aljoscha Kondratiew at the weekend at the LinkedIn career network. The company is the first and exclusive retail partner of the Hamburger 3D shoe specialist.

Experience 3D printed shoes in the store

“Solebox has always been on the pulse of the times. With Zellerfeld we now offer our community something completely new,” said Kondratiew. “You can experience your shoe production live, feel the materials and order shoes that are especially printed for your feet. It’s not just about wearing the future. It’s about shaping it.”

The 3D scanner records a “complete three-dimensional illustration of each foot” and also recognizes differences between the left and right foot. With the data, Zellerfeld can create a digital fit profile and thus print shoes that are more precisely tailored to the respective sizes.

Customer: After the process, you can select your favorite model from the available Zellerfeld range, order it in the store and then have on-demand printed by 3D shoe provider based in Hamburg and San Francisco.

Zellerfeld is known for its futuristic shoe models, which are made in a 3D printing process. The company only presented a 3D printed loafer in collaboration with Hugo Boss last week.
