The retailer Galeria S.à RL & Co. KG has a new attraction in his branch at Munich’s Marienplatz. As part of a partnership with the local third division club TSV 1860 Munich, the “Löwen-Fanwelt” was opened there on Saturday.
Galeria said that a “curated range of fan articles, jerseys and limited editions” of the traditional association is now offered on the new area. In the future, “common events and promotions for fans and customers: inside” will also be organized. The aim is to “bundle the radiance of both brands and to put new impulses in the interaction of trade and sport,” said the department store operator, who is now also a premium partner of TSV 1860 Munich.
Christian Sailer, the financial director of Galeria, explained the background of the cooperation with the popular football club. “As part of our strategic orientation, we specifically rely on local partnerships with real added value,” he said in a statement. “The connection with the TSV 1860 Munich is an example of our role as a host and urban meeting point.”
