According to Heracles, that decision was taken by order of the mayor of the municipality of Almelo, as a result of the current state of the Erve Asito stadium. The game will be played on Sunday, April 10.
“Technical research, carried out by an engineering firm commissioned by Heracles, has shown that management measures are necessary at Erve Asito,” said Heracles. “The municipality of Almelo has set strict conditions to keep the stadium accessible to the public. A direct consequence of these conditions is that the visitors’ section remains closed. These conditions have been set to limit movements in the stadium as much as possible.”
Feyenoord regrets that no supporters can come to Almelo, but they say they accept the situation. Heracles is number 13 in the Eredivisie, Feyenoord is third.
