Two years after the introduction of the new transport plan, De Lijn is considering reducing the range of buses in and around Bruges. In the meantime, the operating costs would exceed a million euros above the budget foreseen.
To re -balance the budget, the line is planning adjustments. In addition, no stops would disappear, but some routes would be operated less often. Especially the journeys on Sunday morning come to the sights. In the meantime, all municipalities involved received a proposal and may give advice on this. The final decision is expected in September.
