Prime Minister Schoof and Defense Minister Brekelmans will visit Poland on Monday 7 July. In Warsaw they speak with Prime Minister Tusk and Minister Kosiniak-Kamysz of Defense. The visit is all about deepening and broadening the good bilateral relationship, including in the field of defense and economy. During the meeting, a defense agreement between the Netherlands and Poland will be signed.

Other topics that will be discussed are the war in Ukraine, the situation in the Middle East, the transatlantic relationship and European cooperation.

Prime Minister Schoof closes his program in Poland with a visit to the headquarters of Frontex, the agency that coordinates and supports operational cooperation in the external borders of Europe.

Minister Brekelmans, in turn, visits an East Shield training location, a project that provides for the territorial protection of Poland against Russia in the north and Belarus in the east.
