Seventy cows have escaped near the Exportweg in Moerdijk. The fire brigade reports this, which pushed out in a big way. Two cows ended up in a ditch and had to be saved with special equipment.
It is unclear how many cows have been caught. A spokesperson for the fire brigade says he does not know exactly where the cows have escaped. According to an 112 correspondent, there is uncertainty where the cows came from.
Catch
The fire brigade came by at ten to help the farmer catch the cows. “We pulled out with several cars, also because the cows were close to the highway,” reports a spokesperson for the Security Region.
A fire truck was used to drive the cows together. With a special cattle branch, the fire brigade tried to remove the two cows from the ditch, but that didn’t work.
Eventually one of the cows managed to climb out of the ditch on their own. The other cow was removed from the ditch with a special crane from the fire brigade.
The fire brigade left at half -twalf, reports a spokesperson for the Security Region. He could not confirm whether all cows are justified. According to an 112 correspondent from Omroep Brabant, De Boer said that he could “handle the rest himself.” He kindly thanked the fire brigade for his efforts.
