The A2 at Vught was full of strawberries on Wednesday evening. According to a bystander, the door of a refrigerator opened while driving and crates with strawberries fell out.
Rijkswaterstaat had to temporarily close the road for traffic, because the strawberries rolled over the road surface. The delay therefore increased to half an hour. A photo that shares the road administrator shows how agents collect the strawberries.
Around a quarter past seven, one lane was released again. A cleaning company has taken the crates and strawberries off the road.
