US club apparently prepares new offer for Müller

The US club Los Angeles FC apparently prepares a new offer to sign Thomas Müller. The “Bild” newspaper reports. Accordingly, there were recently further discussions with the club from the Major League Soccer (MLS), in which representatives of FC Bayern were also supported.
The departure of Olivier Giroud, who leaves the US club in the direction of Lille, has now arisen from the report that has been given financial scope that allows an improved salary offer for Müller. Instead of the last offered 1.5 million euros in annual salary, references of up to four million euros are now conceivable. This also makes the “Designated Player Rule” possible, which allows three salaries above the actual upper limit for each team.
A meeting between Bayern sports director Max Eberl and the CEO Jan-Christian Dreesen and Los Angeles FC should be planned for a long time. This had to be canceled recently, since the Bayern managers were in Germany. Now the talks should be intensified.
According to “Bild”, Müller also deals intensively with his future in addition to the current club World Cup. After all, the quarter-finals against PSG could already be the last game of Müller in the Bavaria jersey.
