FC Bayern’s search for a new winger apparently continues. According to a new report, a candidate is becoming increasingly important: Luis Díaz from Liverpool FC.
As the “Sport Bild” reports, Bayern sports director Max Eberl is said to have now “made a first advance”. It has already been about concrete numbers. Díaz is still under contract with the English champion until 2027, but the 28-year-old Colombian should not be averse to a change. Previously, Sky had already reported on the interest of Bayern at the attacker.
And another name should now be on the list at the German record champions: Diáz ‘Premier League colleague Marcus Rashford. The English international was long as a permanent fixture at Manchester United, but then had clashed several times with coach Rúben Amorim. In winter, Rashford switched to Aston Villa on a loan – and convinced with good performances.
According to the report, the 27-year-old has the profile that the Munich is looking for: he can be used flexibly, can play both on the left wing and in the storm center. Rashford is currently on the so-called longlist at the Bayern scouts.
