A train rammed a car on a railway crossing on Boslaan in Vught on Tuesday afternoon. The car ended up in a traffic jam, so that the back of the car was still partly on the track. Around 500 passengers were stuck on the train for an hour and ten minutes.

There were four young men in the car. They could all end the car on time and were not injured. The train stopped after the accident. The driver was shocked to continue driving and was replaced by a colleague, reports a spokesperson for the Dutch Railways.

Due to the accident, the train traffic between Den Bosch and Tilburg was completely silent. ProRail employees have distributed water to the passengers of the stranded train.

The air conditioning has just worked all the time, a spokesperson for the Dutch Railways adds. The train was not seriously damaged and was able to continue towards Tilburg.
