A wounded cleaner in Moergestel had to be saved from a roof on Tuesday at the tennis club at the Stokeind. The man had slipped after the discovery of a wasp’s nest and was injured.

The cleaner decided to start on the roof of the tennis club building. He did that consciously so that he would be ready to clean the heat.

Things went differently: when cleaning on the roof, the man saw wasps flying and it turned out that a wasp’s nest was under a solar panel. The man slid out, possibly the shock, and suffered considerable injuries on his knee.

The man could then no longer get off the roof and was in full sun. Eventually the fire brigade removed him from the roof with a platform. He was taken to the hospital by ambulance.
