He tried it several times, but at the age of 28 it is over: Ex-Schelsea-Talent Charly Musonda Jr. has announced the end of his active career. “For me, this is not a farewell, but a new beginning, in which I can hopefully make a small contribution to make the world better for footballers,” wrote the offensive player, who in the future apparently wants to offer other footballers a larger media stage.
Musonda was once considered one of the greatest talents in Belgian football, in advertising around him Chelsea prevailed against other top clubs such as MAN City, Man United, Arsenal or Barça. The big career was never really going on due to injury. After an operation on the cruciate ligament in August 2019, the fourth long -term failure due to knee problems, Musonda had only given his comeback at the U23 of the blues in September 2021 after 770 days. After he had to leave Chelsea, he tried to attempt at UD Levant and anthosis Famagusta. After a year without a club, he now draws a line.
“I wish all great players out there who do everything to realize their dreams that they have the opportunity to be successful for themselves and their families, starting with the current players who inspire the children around the world, right down to the next generation that is on the way up: always believe, play free and enjoy every minute that you have,” Musonda, who also wrote to his family, role. Thanked coaches for the support during all ups and depths.
He returns to the square, but not “the game I loved. I think that I still have a lot to give, especially for top players around the world who need a stage,” Musonda looked into the future. “I have gone through so much in recent years, so many emotions, happiness and sadness that I realized that there are so many great talents with great stories that have overcome or overcome similar obstacles that still have a lot to give, but they can hardly be helped, and there is probably no one who can help better than I do.” How exactly, Musonda wants to announce in the coming months.
