Davy Klaassen stays with Ajax Amsterdam beyond the summer. On Monday evening, the Dutch record champion announced the extension with the 32 -year -old midfielder. Originally the ex-bremer’s contract expired, now he signed for two years to 2027. Klaassen had already played in his youth and the first years of his career and after his ward at Werder for Ajax, with 356 games he belongs to the top 10 record player of the Amsterdam.

With Ajax, Klaassen won the Dutch championship title five times and the trophy in 2021. In 2016 he was also awarded the footballer of the year in the Netherlands.
