The accelerator, who died in Kauhava on Sunday, was “an experienced male motorcycle competitor,” the event organizer Finnish Hot Rod Association (FHRA) announced on Monday.
– During the driving performance, the motorcycle tilted and drifted out of the track for an unknown reason, leading to the driver’s death, FHRA Marketing Oy’s CEO Anssi Pinola told in the press release.
Pinola said the accident was exceptional. According to him, the case was the first in the 50-year history of the whole sport in Finland.
Competition Director of Kauhava competitions Toni batch source told the Ilkka-Pohjan that he considered the accident a really sad coincidence.

– The died was an experienced driver. The course was in excellent condition at the time of the accident. The track is constantly being checked before anyone is allowed to drive, he said.
The accident happened at an event at Kauhava Airport, where both the Finnish Championship and PM series competitions competed.
Police do not doubt the crime. Police are investigating accidents in accidents in various motor sports.
