Linda de Mol receives strong criticism for her choosing because she will present the quizshow brilliant brains for RTL 4. “She is much too big to present quizzes,” it sounds.
She is actually the big Talpa star, but hoping to roll out the successful internationally, the newest TV child from Linda de Mol is broadcast on the more successful RTL 4: Brilliant brains. The program revolves around smart people who live together under one school roof, where they compete against each other to become the most brilliant brain of 2025.
Mishmash
Linda is the director of this fictional school, keeps a close eye on the brilliant brains and tests them every episode for skills such as arithmetic, language and general knowledge, but especially who has the greatest elephant memory.
Telegraaf reporter Jordi Versteegden explains in the podcast Strictly private: “Yes, that is a kind of student quiz. She will turn out, our Linda, as a kind of school teacher, and yes, then the master brain is chosen. It is actually a kind of smartest person meets all the quizzes together and a hengelmoesje of it.”
“Stop it!”
Colleague Jan Uriot thinks it should be ready with Linda once. “I actually think: Linda, stop with those quizzes. I mean: she is much too big to present quizzes. I mean: she has to present large galas.”
“That woman must have the exclusivity that when Linda comes, then something happens. As you used to have Mies Bouwman, something happened. And not quizs present. Keep with those quizzes, Linda. Big galas, you are worth it.”
Large galas
Jordi thinks they are not enough. “But yes, is that still of this time? Big galas on television?”
Jan: “We have big galas, right we have the film festival, we have the Televizier ring. There are plenty of galas to come up with.”
Jordi: “But on television further? Because of course she does Miljoenenjacht, which is also a kind of quiz in principle?”
Jan: “Well, that’s enough. I think one quiz is enough.”
