Governor California demands $ 787 million from TV channel Fox News because of defamation

Governor Gavin Newsom of California has started a lawsuit against Fox News. The TV channel is said to have committed defamation by deliberately displaying details about a telephone conversation between Newsom and President Donald Trump. The governor demands compensation of $ 787 million (more than 641 million euros).
