In my opinion, St. Pauli should look for a new striker and not hire a winger. Jones have been committed, but he was now, the only player who could hold this position and because of his enormous speed I can well imagine that he will be used. I can imagine that on the left with Saad/Jones and on the right with Pereira Lage/Afolayan will go into the season. In my opinion, Philippe, Kaars and Hornby would see St. Pauli well.
The transfer window is not even officially opened. There will certainly be some things. Maybe on the departure side.
Yokota fits in Abab’s search scheme: fast and good pressing player. To do this, he has a dribble strength, which we have at most Scott Banks, but does not stand on the Blessin.
Yokota would bring the option to create overpayment situations at/in the penalty area and opportunities not only through speed in the switching game, but also through the wealth of fines.
An interest makes sense.
Pereira Lage, Saad, Afolayan, Banks have so far been on the outside.
Jones comes from the 3rd English league and is a surprise bag that may work at some point. This is not a position towards relegation.
Another player for the external positions is certainly very, very useful.
That changes, of course – and you are absolutely right – that a big hole is gaping in the storm center. But, as I said, the transfer window …
