Now Sabrina Carpenter reacted to criticism by publishing an alternative cover on social media. This was “approved by God”, she wrote under the posting for artwork. A black and white photo can be seen on the new version, on which the singer is elegantly leaned against a man in a suit. She wears a pearl -occupied dress. The focus is clearly on Carpenter, while the men in the picture only take on a supporting role.
Among other things, many fans had criticized the fact that the original cover of women seemed degrading and glorifying violence.

In a post that has now been deleted on the platform X, a user previously shared the “humiliating” man’s best-Friend cover and asked: “Does she actually have a personality away from sex?” Sabrina Carpenter replied: “Girl, yes – and she is Guuuuuuut.”

Carpenter’s new album Man’s Best Friend will be released on August 29, 2025 and follows the huge success of Short N ‘Sweet, which was released in 2024.
