Basketball players 3×3 books First victory at World Cup
09.26 hours: The Dutch 3×3 basketball players have booked their first victory at the World Championship in Mongolia. In Ulaanbaatar, the team beat Chili 21-13.
The Dutch team, which was placed second behind China, consists of Janis Boonstra, Noortje Driessen, Ilse Kuijt and Evelien Lutje Schipholt. They had started defeats against Japan and the United States. The basketball players have to beat the Czech Republic later on Thursday to reach the interim round.
The Dutch men qualified for the interim round on Wednesday.
