Hollands Kroon may get a lot of homes in a short time. This is the result of the adopted motion for residential construction in May 2024, in which the college was called on to actively work on the construction of 500 temporary homes.
The Commission makes 3.6 million euros available to purchase land to build up temporary and permanent houses. ‘Do something quickly’
“There is a lot of demand for homes, also in smaller villages. We can quickly do something with these locations,” says Mark Versteeg, Alderman Spatial Planning. Local residents receive a letter with more information about the plans this week.
The city council will discuss the proposal on 10 July.
