Renze Klamer is starting to disturb a bit of the presence of Robbie Williams in our country. The RTL 4 star believes that the British singer should be a bit more exclusive. “Go to another country!”
Robbie Williams is in the Johan Cruijff Arena for the second evening in a row tonight, and because the stadium is not sold out, we see him all doing PR things. Last weekend he walked down the street in Amsterdam to ask people for a selfie. A playful promotion, but talk show host Renze Klamer really doesn’t like it.
Lovely land
Political reporter Wouter de Winther liked Robbie’s selfie video (see below). “What do we live in a wonderful country that is possible and that there are not all people popping up just like in New York or in Los Angeles with all those paparazzi.”
Renze doesn’t like it. “Do you know what I thought? I thought: that man now lives here? I feel he feels every week here. Then he is with Eva again, then he has an action again. What’s going on?”
Two concerts
Talk show guest Ron Keller does not understand what Renze means. “He has two concerts here, right, I think?”
Renze: “Yes, but I don’t think it’s a good sign if someone so often … he is very often in the Netherlands?”
Wouter and Malou Petter in Koor: “Isn’t that fun?”
Then Wouter alone: ”What do you have against Robbie Williams? Can he not be here?”
Status
Renze believes that Robbie should be more exclusive. “No, but two years ago I was in a concert of his, very nice and then you think: this is one of the great artists of the zeros and that time.”
“I think that as an artist you should be a bit sparing with how often you report somewhere, to keep that status, and he is now so often. Now he is going to do this again. Then I think: you don’t need that at all?”
‘Don’t agree’
Malou does not understand what Renze is so concerned about. “No, I really don’t agree with you.”
Wouter: “I like it.”
Finally, Renze: “Yes, but: again? There are also other countries that you can occasionally visit?”
