The BBB group in the Provincial States did not ask the King Jetta Klijnsma Commissioner tonight to come and give text and explanation about her BBB ruling during the party congress of GroenLinks-Pvda during their group meeting. The BBB is going to ask Klijnsma something “that is more than just sorry”, but doesn’t want to say anything about it. A proposal for that is in the making.

“We still have to ask her and then it is up to her to respond,” says Willem Vossebelt party leader. Vossebeld tasted tonight in addition to the anger and surprise, especially disappointment in his seventeen -member group.

Klijnsma got the anger of the BBB on her neck when she said on Saturday at the GroenLinks-Pvda party congress that the BBB in Drenthe has no driver’s experience, which yields “misery”. According to Vossebeld, what is requested from Klijnsma must also be well expressed. “One wrong word, for example misery, yields a lot of hassle.”

During the group meeting there was also consultation with the national party top. Does it rise the case higher than the own Drenthe group? BBB party leader Caroline van der Plas found that Klijnsma “creates an unsafe working climate.” Vossebeld: “We as Drenten are tackling it a bit more sober. But there is a lot of emotion,” VoSsebeld confesses.

Deputy Egbert van Dijk, who is sick, was also present at the BBB meeting tonight. According to Vossebeld, that indicates how high it is. The party leader said today that his group and two deputies are fully involved in the administrative and political game. To add tonight: “During Klijnsma’s absence, we also temporarily delivered a great vice -president for the Provincial States because of her fall and hip fracture.”

There were also group members who would have liked to hear Klijnsma’s story in the group meeting. Vossebeld: “Text and explanation is fine, but the words are said. Moreover, we also had a substantive group meeting tonight, because next Wednesday the lily cultivation policy, the annual reports and the spring memorandum will be on the program and that requires quite a bit of preparation.”

Klijnsma has now apologized to the BBB group and tonight to the Provincial States.
