In the final stage of this 94th round of Belgium, Merlier was clearly the fastest in the announced mass sprint after a ride over 183.2 kilometers with start and arrival in Brussels. In the shadow of the Atomium he made it from the Colombian Juan Sebastian Molano and the German Kim Heiduk. Jasper Philipsen had to take peace with fifth place. The final victory in this Tour of Belgium went to the Italian Filippo Baroncini.
