Doctors will strike for the first time in almost 25 years through reforms Vandenbroucke, minister hopes for “thorough consultation”

The fight between doctors and federal Minister of Health Frank Vandenbroucke (Vooruit) has reached a boiling point. Doctor Syndicate BVAS-ABSYM submitted a strike notice on Friday before Monday 7 July against the minister’s reform plans. Strike actions are hardly found for doctors. The latter dates from 2001.
