The Pakistani government nominates US President Donald Trump as a candidate for the Nobel Prize for Peace 2026. Pakistan says this out of appreciation for Trumps fast “diplomatic intervention” during the recent escalating tensions with the neighboring country India. According to Islamabad, Trump then showed strategic insight and leadership and came up with “a robust diplomacy”.
